To juice or not to juice?

This morning my very good friend turned to me and said: ‘Today, I’m starting my juice only diet’.  I know she wants to shift a few pounds (don’t we all!) but unsure whether she was looking for some weight loss advice, some support and confirmation that this was a good option, or just sharing her plans, I felt duty bound to ask…..’Why?!’   As a dietitian I’ve seen and heard of many fad diets, many ‘quick fixes’ that promise to help you drop a dress size but I’ve yet to see any of them work,
