What are your niggles about joining my Happy Healthy Weaning course?

If you’ve been thinking about joining my Happy Healthy Weaning
course but you’re still not sure, I want you to know that I get it. I understand.

It’s totally normal to worry about whether it’s the right decision to invest in an online course.

Here are some of the most common concerns about joining the course and my responses.

1. “I can’t afford it”

Some Mums get in touch to say they would love to join but they just can’t afford to pay the £79 course fee. It’s a real pity that maternity pay runs out, roughly the same time that you start weaning your baby and I understand, you suddenly have a drop in income.

Some Mummy’s think that £79 seems like a lot but actually, it’s only £3 per week for the 6 months or so you’ll be weaning. Now, that’s the price of a latte at Costa Coffee!

I’d also really urge you to think deeply about this. Ask yourself what price would you place on your baby’s health and well being?

But not only that, what value do you place on your own time, your ability to feel confident in feeding your baby, having fewer worries and anxiety over things like choking, food allergies, sleeping through the night….

If you’re reading this, I know that you’re determined to find the money somehow if getting the right advice on baby nutrition and feeding is what’s important to you.

I know that you understand the return on investment, when it comes to your baby, is priceless.

Still not sure?

Here are a few suggestions on how to generate the cash:

  1. Ask someone else to pay.

Got a birthday coming up? Or maybe your baby’s christening? Ask your parents or the in-laws to club together instead of a gift and if they want they can even purchase the course as a gift voucher! If that’s what you’d like to suggest here’s the link

2. Join the ‘Refer A Friend’ scheme. Every time you refer a friend, you’ll get 33% of the amount they pay back to you as a thank you. So on the £79 course, that’s £26 back to you! If you’d like to join, here’s the link

3. Look down the back of the sofa.

Only joking! But the principle is the same. Are there subscriptions you are signed up to that you no longer use? Then cancel them. Do you have a fabulous dress hanging in your wardrobe that you’re unlikely to wear again? If so, stick it on eBay! Bought a baby item that’s actually pretty useless? Then sell it!

2. “I won’t have enough time”

I promise you, you will. It’s so important to me that you get this information, that I’ve condensed the essentials into short video lessons so that all you need is 5-15 mins or so, here and there.

Some of the Mums on my course say they watch while they’re up doing night feeds.

If you do get the opportunity and want to binge the course, the entire course back to back is less than 4 hours.

Please don’t wait before you join. Getting food and feeding right from the very beginning is so important for your baby’s future health. We even have scientific research on ‘the first 1000 days
’ which has proven just how crucial this short window of time is when it comes to setting your baby up for their future health.

3. “I’m interested, but I need to talk about it with my partner”

I understand you’re in this together right? Here’s what you need to say to your other half:

“I want to learn how to wean our baby properly from someone who’s an expert and have the most up-to-date information at my fingertips so that I don’t have to spend hours trawling the Internet in order to find the answers to our questions.

By joining Happy Healthy Weaning
I’ll be staying in the know and getting cutting edge feeding strategies and information rather than wasting time searching google for the right thing to do.”

4. “I’m a terrible cook and my baby is going to hate everything I give them”

Don’t worry, you don’t need to be a culinary expert.

You’re nervous and a bit anxious that weaning isn’t going to go well and this is OK, in fact it’s completely normal. All Mums are in the same position because they want to do the best they can for their baby and they’re worried they won’t meet the standard. But you are capable, you are brilliant, you gave birth to a beautiful baby!

I’m sure you have had times in your life where you felt you’re not capable of doing something and said ‘bring it on’ (labour perhaps?). This is one of those times but you don’t need to worry. I’m here to walk you through it step-by-step, exactly how to wean your baby successfully.

5. “I feel overwhelmed by all the baby weaning information”

I know! There’s a lot of information out there, from your Health Visitor to the NHS website, to cookery books, to the internet. And it’s so frustrating that they all say something slightly different.

That’s exactly why I created Happy Healthy Weaning
! To cut through all the noise and give you a step by step framework that takes you from introducing first tastes to their very first birthday cake.
