Dr Bridgette Wilson is a gut specialist clinical and research dietitian with a wealth of clinical dietetic experience both in the NHS and private healthcare.
Bridgette’s award-winning PhD research on the Low FODMAP diet and Prebiotics in Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and Ulcerative Colitis, has given her a great depth of knowledge to help patients attain good symptom control.
Bridgette specialises in helping patients with irritable bowel syndrome (both diarrhoea and constipation), inflammatory bowel disease, reflux, dyspepsia and orofacial granulomatosis (oral inflammation).
Following her PhD Bridgette is writing dietary guidelines for IBD management and is continuing her research into IBS treatment at King’s College London.
In addition, Bridgette has a wealth of experience in helping patients develop healthy balanced eating habits to optimise: general gut health; weight management; diabetes control; and reactive hypoglycaemia.
