Catherine Rabess is an enthusiastic and experienced Registered Dietitian specialising in gastroenterology and complex nutrition support. With over 10 years clinical experience.
With a focus in functional gut disorders including reflux, hiatus hernia, gastritis, SIBO, IBS and trained low FODMAP advanced practitioner, neurogastroenterology conditions such as hEDS, gut dysmotility conditions gastroparesis and delayed gastric emptying. Bowel disease with speciality in lower GI – colorectal surgery and Inflammatory Bowel Disease. As well as, undernutrition and enteral nutrition (tube feeding) in the areas of intestinal failure, bowel disease, neurological disabilities and conditions including cerebal palsy, stroke, Huntington’s disease and Parkinson’s.
She also has expertise in women’s health including PCOS, endometrosis and menopause.
Catherine splits her time between NHS and private practice. Previous roles include gastroenterology Dietitian and part of IBD team a East Surrey Hospital, acute lead of service at Epsom General Hospital and most recently clinical lead of community Nutrition and Dietetic service in South West London.
Catherine also works as a Consultant Dietitian at leading private hospital St John’s and St Elizabeth. Where she works closely with Consultants at GI Unit and part of a small team of specialist Dietitians for ward based medical and surgical care.
