The ethos behind my work is equipping athletes with the skills and knowledge to confidently be able to implement the micro day to day changes to their nutrition around their changing training needs.
Science has always been an interest of mine so after graduating from Kings College London in 2003 with a BSc in Nutrition and Dietetics, I set out to advance my clinical dietetics practice by working in a range of medical specialities and disease states.
From there, my focus expanded into industry and education where I have been lucky enough to provide evidence-based support to industry, advising on the launch of new nutrition products, presenting to public healthcare professionals, GPs, athletes and businesses.
As a competitive Ironman triathlete sport has become a huge part of my life – and a passion I pursue in my professional work as a High-Performance Sports Nutritionist.
I work with athletes of all levels and of all ages to optimise their nutrition for performance. I specialise in endurance sports, and I have worked with dancers, triathletes, endurance triathletes, ultra-runners, cyclists, weight-related sports and athletes with eating disorders and REDs. I work as part of the Talented Athlete Scholarship Scheme (TASS), Youth Talent Programme (YTP) and Diploma in Sporting Excellence programme (DiSE) in conjunction with England Athletics, British Athletics, Hockey England, Netball England and the Motorsports Uk Academy(MSA).
Helping clients to optimise nutrition for performance, health and symptom management are embedded in my day to day practice.
