Debbie Wilkins is a London based state registered dietitian (SRD) who qualified in 1998 with BSc (Hons) Degree in Nutrition & Dietetics and holds an MSc degree gained at Middlesex University in 2008. Debbie is a HCPC registered dietitian and a member of the British Dietetic Association (BDA).
She has worked in the NHS for over 21 years and has gained a huge amount of experience working within a wide range of disciplines such as Diabetes (type 2), Weight Management, Coronary Heart Disease and Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). During her time in the NHS she has also seen paediatric patients ranging from fussy eating, iron deficiency anaemia, weight management and some allergies.
Debbie is an accredited Diabetes Self-Management (DSM) tutor; is FODMAP trained with the University College London (UCL) and has undertaken CBT and MI training.
She is passionate in helping individuals to achieve their nutritional goals and has been described by her patients as being non-judgemental, a good listener and someone willing to take that extra mile to help.
In addition to her clinical role, she is passionate about fitness, and despite qualifying as a fitness instructor and personal trainer some years ago, is a regular member at her local gym. With her knowledge of nutrition and fitness Debbie is able to offer a holistic approach to an individual’s health and wellbeing.
