1st Class BSc Hons in Nutrition and Dietetics. International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC)
After a 12 year career travelling the world as a professional dancer I graduated from Queen Margaret University Edinburgh in 2006 with a First Class Honours degree in Dietetics.
I practised in adult Dietetics working for NHS Lanarkshire for 3 years before realising my passion was to work with children and in 2009 I took on the role of a Specialist Paediatric Dietician for Wirral Community NHS Trust. In 2011 I was appointed to the role of Clinical Lead Paediatric Dietician for Wirral Community NHS Trust where I continue to work. In 2016 I went on to further expand my expertise in paediatric nutrition by qualifying as an International Board Certified Lactation consultant.
In addition to my clinical practice within the NHS I have written a number of evidence based articles for various nutrition magazines and won writer of the year in 2012-2013 with Complete Nutrition magazine.
I am also a busy Mum; I love a physical challenge and exploring new places with her family.
