Julie has extensive experience in dietary treatment of digestive disease such as irritable bowel syndrome, including being trained to use The Low FODMAP dietary approach to reduce functional bowel symptoms. For Crohn’s disease she has experience of use of elemental, polymeric and the LOFFLEX dietary treatment, working closely with Gastroenterologists to help patients achieve remission. She also has experience with dietary management of ulcerative colitis, coeliac disease, eating after bowel surgery and dietary intolerances such as lactose and fructose malabsorption. She can also provide advice on eating with liver disease and pancreatitis.
