Lynda is a HCPC registered Freelance Dietitian and a full member of the British Dietetic Association. Lynda has 17 years dietetic experience in the NHS working in many areas with both children and adults. She has specialised in paediatric nutrition for 15 years. Her areas of clinical expertise include food allergy, especially cow’s milk protein allergy, irritable bowel syndrome, FODMAPS, coeliac disease and the management of complex cases/conditions.
Lynda is also experienced in delivering nutritional training and education to a wide variety of professionals, parents and children.
Prior to working in the NHS Lynda worked in higher education and in local government, providing specialised nutritional advice for a wide range of services, ages and conditions. This included nutritional standards for contract specifications, advising on school meals and nursery food provision, and health promotion work.
Lynda has recently taken the decision to set up in private practice to enable her to spend time providing a personalised service, helping people to manage their health and nutrition concerns. She launched her new company Sunlight Nutrition in January 2018.
