Maureen has a BSc honours degree in Nutrition & Dietetics, a Graduate Diploma in Sports Nutrition with the International Olympic Committee and a Graduate Certificate in Public Health. She has over 15 years of clinical experience in both the UK and Australia having worked within the NHS and in her private practice.
She is a registered dietitian with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and is a member of the British Dietetic Association (BDA), the London Eating Disorders Dietitians Group, The Centre for Mindful Eating, the Health At Every Size (HAES) community, and is a Clinical Associate Trainer for BEAT (the national eating disorders charity).
Maureen is also a Certified Intuitive Eating Counsellor and a trained meditation instructor and uses this intuitive and mindful approach in working with clients.
Maureen specialises in working with adults and young people with eating disorders, disordered eating, and those who have a poor relationship with food and their body. She is passionate about helping people with their food recovery, getting back to normal eating and rediscovering their own internal cues using a Non-Diet and Health At Every Size (HAES) approach.
